What You'll Need:

  • 20 ft tent pole
  • 2 lower poles of a beach umbrella
  • sand gopher
  • 9 x 10 ft beach blanket with a tent hole pocket hem

Directions:

1. Use a sand gopher to dig a hole for one of the lower poles of a beach umbrella and insert the lower pole of a beach umbrella into the hole you created.

2. Slide the tent pole into the tent pole pocket attached to the beach towel. You can sew the tent pole pocket onto the beach towel or use fabric tape.

3. Once the beach towel is sitting in the middle of the tent pole, slide one end into the lower pole of a beach umbrella that you planted firmly into the sand in step one.
