Cleaning your washing machine is essential to ensuring it always performs optimally, and your laundry always comes out fresh. If yours is from the Electrolux brand, find out how the company recommends you clean it.

Electrolux has been leading in the global appliance market for over a century now, offering consumers a wide range of home appliances, including front and top-loader washing machines. Speaking of which, the company provided clear guidelines on maintaining their cleanliness.

But why should you clean your washing machine? Have you ever noticed that after using your washing machine for a while, instead of smelling like a detergent or fabric softener, your laundry has an unpleasant odor? What about mold stains?

These are the more apparent signs that your washing machine is harboring built-up dirt, grime, and hard water residue and needs to be disinfected. It can also develop an odor if it's not aired out for the drum to dry completely after each wash, leading to moisture retention and mildew.

Without routine maintenance, your washing machine will also develop bacteria that may cling to your laundry, potentially leading to health problems. To avoid all of this, follow the guides below on how to clean your Electrolux washing machine, particularly deep cleaning both front and top loaders.
